Kim Jaejoong Commemorates Park Yong-ha on 15th Anniversary of His Passing

On June 29, 2025, singer Kim Jaejoong visited the columbarium of the late actor Park Yong-ha to mark the 15th anniversary of his passing. Sharing a heartfelt message on his personal social media, Kim expressed, "Today’s weather is amazing! Last year, it rained heavily, making me miss you even more, but today’s clear skies make it feel like I can greet you with a smile. It’s hard to believe it’s already been 15 years since you left us. The world changes quickly, and cherished memories can fade over time, but you still hold a warm place in many hearts. Who could forget your warm smile and the passion you showed? Though our time was short, I will carry the warmth you gave me and strive to share that warmth with others." Kim Jaejoong, who was a close friend of Park Yong-ha, once again paid his respects at the columbarium this year, evoking deep feelings of nostalgia in his followers.

Park Yong-ha debuted as an actor in 1994 through MBC's 'Theme Theater' and gained fame for his impactful performances in dramas such as 'Winter Sonata' and 'Love is Not a Game.' He also achieved remarkable success as a singer, being the first Korean artist to win the Japan Golden Disk Award four consecutive times. Tragically, Park was found deceased at his home in Nonhyeon-dong, Gangnam, on June 30, 2010, at the age of 33. Authorities suggested that the stress from balancing his father's battle with cancer and his entertainment career may have contributed to his untimely death.
