Kim Il-woo and Park Sun-young's Romance Blossoms on 'My Man's Life - Groom Class'

The romance between actors Kim Il-woo (김일우) and Park Sun-young (박선영) has entered a 'ripe stage.' In the latest episode of Channel A's 'My Man's Life - Groom Class' (요즘 남자 라이프–신랑수업), which aired on June 11, Kim Il-woo introduced Park Sun-young to Lee Seung-chul (이승철) and Moon Se-yoon (문세윤), marking the beginning of their public relationship.
The couple headed to a café at a golf course, where they were warmly welcomed by Lee Seung-chul and Moon Se-yoon, creating an atmosphere reminiscent of a family gathering. Kim Il-woo playfully grabbed Park Sun-young's hand, joking, "We even hold hands now. Didn’t we get an award for holding hands last time? Next time, we’ll aim for a scholarship!"
Lee Seung-chul expressed his support, saying, "As long as you two get married, that’s all that matters," and inquired if they enjoyed each other's company. Kim Il-woo praised Park Sun-young's cheerful personality, while she noted that she often hears compliments about her looks.
Throughout the golf round, their chemistry was evident. When a birdie opportunity arose, Park Sun-young teased, "If it goes in, they’ll tell us to get married," to which Lee Seung-chul responded with an enthusiastic, "Okay!" After Kim Il-woo missed a putt, he humorously lamented, "I almost got married there!"
During a post-game gathering, Kim Il-woo reminisced about their 30-year connection, recalling a time when they worked together on a promotional film for the Ministry of National Defense, where Park Sun-young was present. He admitted, "I thought she was quite charming and wanted to get her personal number, but I only got her manager's contact, so it didn’t go anywhere." He also mentioned running into her again on a drama set in 1993 and meeting her on a variety show a decade ago.
He described Park Sun-young's appeal as more boyish and elegant rather than traditionally feminine, recalling a moment when she applied sunscreen on him during filming, which made him wonder if she had feelings for him. However, he noticed she did the same for other male cast members, which made him laugh.
Park Sun-young candidly shared her mixed feelings, saying, "While it seems like Il-woo is getting closer, there are days when he puts up a wall." She expressed uncertainty about her feelings, admitting, "I feel like I like him, but then I question it. I find myself stopping and starting in my feelings."
Lee Seung-chul chimed in, suggesting that Kim Il-woo is overly concerned about future reactions to his actions. Kim Il-woo agreed, joking that he should either hug her or kiss her on the cheek, but feared he might get slapped. Park Sun-young remarked that Kim Il-woo moves at a slow, steady pace, saying, "Sometimes you need to speed up a bit!"
As the episode concluded, a preview showed Kim Il-woo cautiously expressing his thoughts to Park Sun-young, saying, "I’ve thought about what it would be like to get married after spending time together like this." Viewers are eagerly anticipating the next developments in their relationship.
