Kim Hyun-jun Reflects on 'Iron Family' Ahead of Series Finale

As the popular KBS 2TV drama Iron Family (다리미 패밀리) approaches its conclusion, actor Kim Hyun-jun has shared his thoughts on the experience. Portraying the eldest son, Lee Moo-rim, of a reputable laundry business, Kim has consistently delivered powerful performances, breaking the show's own viewership records with each episode.
From the beginning, he has effectively conveyed the character's stoic demeanor and cold gaze, while also revealing the warmth hidden beneath. His portrayal has garnered praise, especially during the investigation of a 10 billion won missing case, where he skillfully expressed the complex emotions of Moo-rim, showcasing a wide acting range.
Kim Hyun-jun also paid attention to the nuances of his character, adjusting his expressions and speech patterns to enhance the authenticity of a seemingly indifferent eldest son, which further deepened the audience's immersion in the story.
In a statement through his agency, PrainTPC, he expressed gratitude towards the director, writers, and fellow cast members, stating, "Thanks to the wonderful staff and talented actors, I was able to give my best and grow throughout the filming of Iron Family." He concluded with appreciation for the viewers, promising to return as a more developed actor in future projects.
As anticipation builds for Kim Hyun-jun's next steps in his acting career, the final episodes of Iron Family will air this Saturday and Sunday at 8 PM on KBS 2TV.
