Kim Hyung-seo Wins Excellence in Acting Award at 2024 SBS Drama Awards

On December 21, 2024, singer and actress Kim Hyung-seo (비비) received the Excellence in Acting Award at the 2024 SBS Drama Awards held at the SBS Prism Tower in Sangam-dong, Seoul. The event was hosted by Shin Dong-yup, Kim Hye-yoon, and Kim Ji-yeon (Bona).

In the category for Excellence in Acting for a Mini-Series, Kim Hyung-seo was nominated alongside Lee Yu-bi and Hwang Jung-eum for their performances in '열혈사제2' and '7인의 부활', respectively. Ultimately, both Kim Hyung-seo and Lee Yu-bi took home the award.

During her acceptance speech, Kim expressed her gratitude, saying, "I was just going to sit here since I didn’t win the Rookie Award, but to be recognized for excellence is truly amazing. I had a very tough time in 2023, and I want to thank my senior Kim Nam-gil for pulling me out of bed when I just wanted to rest. Thank you for believing in me."

She continued, "There are so many people I want to thank, especially Director Park Bo-ram. The reason I get so excited when I receive an acting award is that it reminds me of the six months we spent together. I love my fellow actors who made me laugh even during tough times. They truly changed my life. I love you all."

Kim also expressed her appreciation for the viewers, stating, "Thank you so much! I’m so happy. I debuted on SBS, and I’m grateful to be back. I appreciate all the love and support. I’ve been gaining weight from all the treats lately, so keep them coming! Please continue to recognize me!"
