Kim Hye-yoon and Kim Ji-yeon Share Their Excitement as Hosts of the 2024 SBS Drama Awards

On December 21, 2024, the 2024 SBS Drama Awards took place at the SBS Prism Tower in Sangam-dong, Seoul, with Shin Dong-yup, Kim Hye-yoon (김혜윤), and Kim Ji-yeon (김지연) serving as hosts. During the event, Shin expressed his joy at returning for the eighth consecutive year, noting the various opening performances over the years, and highlighted the dazzling opening by the dance team, Lachika, who are known for their viral choreography.

Shin also shared his happiness at co-hosting with the talented actresses, stating, 'This is my first time working with Kim Hye-yoon and Kim Ji-yeon, who are set to be the leading stars of next year’s SBS dramas. SBS would never let such talents slip away.'

Kim Hye-yoon expressed her excitement about her first attendance at the awards and her role as a host, saying, 'I am thrilled and honored to be here with these wonderful individuals. I am currently filming for my upcoming drama, 'From Today, I Am Human' (오늘부터 인간입니다만), and I hope to become a beloved daughter of SBS through this opportunity.'

Kim Ji-yeon also shared her enthusiasm, mentioning that she is in the midst of filming her drama 'Gwigung' (귀궁), which will be released next year. She added, 'This is my first time at the SBS Drama Awards, and I am both nervous and excited. I hope to return next year as an actress alongside these two.'

The nominees for the Grand Prize at the 2024 SBS Drama Awards included Ahn Bo-hyun (안보현) for 'Reborn Rich' (재벌X형사), Hwang Jung-eum (황정음) for 'Seven Returnees' (7인의 부활), Ji Sung (지성) for 'Connection' (커넥션), Jang Na-ra (장나라) for 'Good Partner' (굿파트너), Park Shin-hye (박신혜) for 'The Judge from Hell' (지옥에서 온 판사), and Kim Nam-gil (김남길) for 'The Fiery Priest 2' (열혈사제2).
