Kim Heechul Shares Heartwarming Story About Sugar's Park Soo-jin on 20th Century Hit Song

On December 27, KBS Joy's '20th Century Hit Song' featured a special year-end episode titled 'Would You Come Back? Hope for Idol Comebacks,' with guests Kim I-ji and Lee Hee-jin from the group Baby V.O.X. In the rankings for 'Hope for Idol Comebacks,' the group Milk, which includes Seo Hyun-jin and Park Hee-bon, secured the 9th spot, while Sugar, known for their pure concept, came in 8th. Sugar, which included members Park Soo-jin, Ayumi, Hwang Jung-eum, and Yuk Hye-seung, gained popularity for their charming images of innocence, beauty, sexiness, and cuteness.

During the show, Kim Heechul shared a humorous anecdote about Park Soo-jin, revealing that he made her cry while they were resting in a car during a drama shoot. He recalled, 'I saw Park Soo-jin's nails and it reminded me of a song from the Jujube Club, so I teased her by singing 'tae-tae-tae-tae,' and she ended up crying.'

In the rankings, the 7th spot went to Eagle Five with 'Squid Alien,' followed by Cleo at 6th and Five at 5th. One Time took 3rd place, while Shap came in 2nd. Ultimately, Baby V.O.X, represented by Kim I-ji and Lee Hee-jin, claimed the top spot.

To celebrate their victory, Baby V.O.X performed 'Get Up' live and became emotional while watching a video of their past win. Lee Hee-jin reflected on their 'Get Up' promotions, stating, 'The sexy concept was challenging for me, Kan Mi-yeon, and Yoon Eun-hye.' Kim I-ji added, 'We changed the center according to the album concept, and I was fortunate that my image matched the 'Get Up' concept, leading to the album's success.'

Lee Hee-jin expressed gratitude for their win, saying, 'We are happy to be number one and thankful for the support,' while Kim I-ji promised to work hard to persuade the members to create more albums as the eldest member.
