Kim Go-eun Shines on the Cannes Red Carpet

Actress Kim Go-eun made a stunning appearance on the red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival. On May 14, at the Lumière Theater in Cannes, France, the screening of 'Mission: Impossible - Final Recording' took place, attracting numerous stars, including Kim Go-eun.
Although she was not attending for a specific project, Kim was invited as an ambassador for a brand. She dazzled in a black sequined jumpsuit paired with a sheer cape, creating a look that was both elegant and striking. The slim silhouette and sparkling texture of her outfit enhanced her presence, while her short hairstyle and minimal makeup highlighted her confident aura.
On the red carpet, Kim captivated local reporters with her relaxed demeanor, smiling gently and waving to the crowd. Her appearance exuded both charisma and grace, making it a memorable moment.
Previously, Kim Go-eun walked the red carpet at the 68th Cannes Film Festival for the film 'Chinatown,' marking her return to the event after nearly a decade.
In this year's competition, no South Korean films were featured. However, director Jeong Yu-mi's short film 'Glasses' was invited to the Critics' Week, and director Heo Ga-young's short film 'First Summer' was selected for the Cinéfondation. Additionally, director Hong Sang-soo was appointed as a jury member for the competition, also making an appearance on the red carpet.
The 78th Cannes Film Festival runs from May 13 to May 24, local time.
