Kim Gap-soo and Lee Byung-jun Face Off in 'Love is a One-Way Bridge'

In the latest episode of tvN's weekend drama 'Love is a One-Way Bridge' (사랑은 외나무다리에서), which aired on November 23, actor Kim Gap-soo made a striking entrance as Yoon Jae-ho, the grandfather of Yoon Ji-won (정유미) and the former chairman of the prestigious Dokmok High School. The episode depicted the Yoon family's struggle as they faced the loss of their lifelong investment in the school to their arch-rivals, the Seok family.
As the board meeting commenced, tensions escalated between Yoon Jae-ho and Seok Kyung-tae (이병준), who runs Seokban Construction. Jae-ho did not hold back in expressing his displeasure, engaging in a fierce battle of wills marked by pointed gestures and raised voices. His piercing gaze and expressions conveyed a deep-seated anger towards Kyung-tae, who showed no affection for the school.
In stark contrast, Jae-ho displayed a tender side when interacting with his beloved granddaughter, Yoon Ji-won. Despite the turmoil surrounding the foundation's takeover, he was seen caring for Ji-won, even as they argued about the situation. This affectionate dynamic brought a warm smile to viewers' faces.
Kim Gap-soo's portrayal of Yoon Jae-ho was remarkable, showcasing a perfect blend of warmth towards his granddaughter and a strong conviction regarding the school. His explosive emotional performance added depth to the longstanding rivalry, enhancing the drama's overall engagement.
'Love is a One-Way Bridge' tells the story of Seok Ji-won and Yoon Ji-won, who were born on the same day with the same name into feuding families.
