Kim Da-hyun Appointed as Ambassador for 2025 Yeongdong World Traditional Music Expo

Singer Kim Da-hyun has been officially appointed as the promotional ambassador for the '2025 Yeongdong World Traditional Music Expo'. On March 24, she received her ambassador certificate from Jeong Yeong-cheol, the governor of Yeongdong County in North Chungcheong Province. The expo, themed 'The Fragrance of Traditional Music, Coloring the World', is set to take place from September 12 to October 11 at the Yeongdong Rainbow Healing Tourist Site and the Traditional Music Experience Village.

Governor Jeong expressed confidence in Kim's role, stating, "With over 30 countries participating in this event, Kim Da-hyun, who has been actively promoting traditional music globally, is the perfect choice for our ambassador. We look forward to her extensive promotional efforts."

Since the age of four, Kim Da-hyun has explored various aspects of traditional Korean music, including trot, pansori, folk songs, gayageum, haegeum, janggu, buk, and Korean dance. She has gained immense popularity as the 'Traditional Music Trot Fairy' through her appearances on MBN's 'Voice Trot', TV Chosun's 'Miss Trot 2', and MBN's 'Korea-Japan King of Song Competition'.

As the ambassador for the '2025 Yeongdong World Traditional Music Expo', Kim will engage in promotional activities leading up to the event and throughout its duration in the Yeongdong area. Additionally, she has pledged to be the first ticket purchaser when pre-sales begin on April 1, committing to donate tickets worth 3 million KRW to support underprivileged communities in experiencing cultural activities.

Kim stated, "As an ambassador, I hope to help those who find it difficult to enjoy cultural activities by participating in this donation. I will work hard to promote the expo widely." She is also a regular cast member on MBN's 'Korea-Japan Top Ten Show', airing every Monday and Tuesday, where she continues to receive positive responses from viewers and fans.
