Kim Dae-ho Returns to 'I Live Alone' After Seven Weeks

Former MBC announcer and broadcaster Kim Dae-ho is set to make his return to the popular show 'I Live Alone' (나 혼자 산다) after a seven-week hiatus. In a preview released at the end of the March 14 episode, viewers will get a glimpse of Kim's new life as a freelancer, showcasing his 100% happiness.
In the teaser, Kim appears more relaxed and free than ever before, even seen snoring while sleeping at home. Previously, he often looked exhausted from work, but this time he seems to be enjoying a leisurely sleep.
Reflecting on his transition to freelancing, Kim shared, "I felt like I was on an endless work treadmill, but now I have a clearer work-life balance." He expressed excitement about pursuing long-delayed personal interests, such as cleaning his roof and taking guitar lessons, exclaiming, "Going out on a Tuesday afternoon is such a joy!"
Kim Dae-ho's return to 'I Live Alone' comes after he announced his departure from MBC on January 31, where he had been a prominent figure. He explained his decision to leave, stating, "I wanted to explore how to live a different life rather than just quitting my job. After the Paris Olympics, I felt I had done everything I could in my role at the company."
After finalizing his departure on February 4, he shared his resignation letter on Instagram, marking a new chapter in his life. While fans were initially concerned about his absence from MBC shows like 'Pook Sihyeon' (푹 쉬면 다행이야) and 'Home Alone' (구해줘 홈즈), he quickly reconnected with audiences through 'Pook Sihyeon' and is now set to return to his main show, 'I Live Alone.'
Having gained immense popularity through 'I Live Alone,' Kim Dae-ho led a busy life akin to that of a celebrity, leaving fans eager for his unique charm. With his shift to freelancing, viewers are excited to see the return of the 'natural' Kim Dae-ho in his everyday life on the show.
