Kim Dae-ho Announces Departure from MBC on 'I Live Alone'

In the latest episode of MBC's reality show 'I Live Alone' (나혼자산다), Kim Dae-ho revealed his intention to leave the network, expressing his inner thoughts. During the broadcast on January 31, Kim Dae-ho declared himself a freelancer.

On this episode, fellow cast member Giann84 took a lighthearted approach by checking Kim Dae-ho's fortune through a traditional card game. Although Kim Dae-ho admitted he doesn't usually consult fortune-telling, Giann84 insisted on looking into his career prospects, dramatically warning him not to take it lightly.

As Giann84 examined the cards, he speculated that Kim Dae-ho might be facing some troubles, suggesting he was already prepared for a significant change. Giann84 humorously exclaimed, "You're leaving MBC!" and predicted that Kim Dae-ho would transition to another company by April, regardless of his wishes. This left Kim Dae-ho visibly startled.

During a housewarming gathering for 'Dae-ho's Second Location,' Kim Dae-ho hesitated to speak up, prompting concern from Giann84 and Lee Jang-woo. With their attention focused on him, Kim Dae-ho finally shared his thoughts, stammering, "Well..." which led everyone to speculate about a possible marriage announcement. Instead, he praised Giann84's fortune, confirming his own decision to become a freelancer.

Kim Dae-ho explained that he had already informed his company about his resignation, stating, "I thought a lot about this. It wasn't a sudden decision; I had already talked about it." He reflected on his career, saying, "I worked hard without regrets, but now that I'm over forty, I feel that if I don't make a change now, I might miss my chance." Giann84 empathized, acknowledging that taking risks at their age is not easy.
