Kim Bora Reflects on Life After Divorce with Meaningful Social Media Post

Actress Kim Bora has drawn attention with a poignant social media post following her divorce from director Jo Ba-reun. On May 10, she shared a photo on her social media, captioning it simply with the word "끝" (end), which coincidentally aligns with both the conclusion of the 26th Jeonju International Film Festival on May 9 and the end of her marriage. In the accompanying photo, Kim Bora is seen smiling brightly in front of the waiting room, appearing to carry on with her daily life despite the recent announcement of her divorce. Fans have flocked to her social media to offer words of encouragement, with comments like "Stay strong," "Wishing you a beautiful path ahead," and "I’m always cheering for you."
Kim Bora's agency, Noon Company, released an official statement regarding the divorce, expressing regret for having to share such news with those who have supported her. They clarified that the decision was made after careful consideration and mutual agreement, and all legal procedures have been completed. They also requested that the public refrain from spreading unfounded speculation or sensationalized reports about the situation.
Kim Bora and Jo Ba-reun were married in June 2024 after dating for three years, having met while working together on the film "Gwaegimanseon" in 2021. However, their marriage lasted only 11 months.
Kim Bora began her acting career in 2005 with the drama "Wedding" and has since appeared in various films and dramas, including "The Village: Achiara's Secret," "Monster," "Goodbye Summer," and the hit series "SKY Castle." Meanwhile, Jo Ba-reun is known for winning the Korean Fantastic Short Film Award at the 21st Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival in 2017 and directing films such as "Vibration" and "Gwaegimanseon."
