KIA Tigers' Kim Do-young Expresses His Admiration for NewJeans' Hani

In the latest episode of MBC's variety show, 전지적 참견 시점 (The Manager), KIA Tigers baseball player Kim Do-young showcased his admiration for NewJeans' Hani. The episode aired on December 28, 2024, featuring Kim Do-young alongside his agency's representative, lawyer Park Ji-hoon, as they shared insights into his daily life.

Kim Do-young, known for being a fan of NewJeans, previously made headlines during the KIA Fan Festa on November 30, where he performed Hani's song '푸른 산호초' (Blue Coral) and even dressed up to resemble her, earning him the nickname 'Doni'.

During a meal with his sisters on the show, Kim expressed his enthusiasm for Hani. When asked if he would teach her how to throw the first pitch, he humorously replied, "No, I’ll just take it all in with my eyes." He further added that if Hani were to throw for another team, he would prefer it to be when they were playing together, jokingly stating, "If the ball comes my way, I’ll just have to catch it and say she should take responsibility!"
