KBS2's 'The Singer in Germany' Delights with Romantic Busking in the Rain

The KBS2 music travel reality show, 'The Singer in Germany' (나라는 가수 인 독일), is set to showcase a charming busking performance amidst the rain on December 28. The episode features artists Suzy (수지), Sunwoo Jung-Ah (선우정아), Sohyang (소향), Henry (헨리), and members of the boy group ATEEZ, Hongjoong (홍중) and Jongho (종호), along with guitarist Jairo (자이로) and pianist Inau (이나우) as they embark on their second busking adventure.

On their second day in Munich, the group heads to the Viktualienmarkt, known as a 'paradise of flavors' with over 140 stalls. Taking refuge from an unexpected downpour, the artists express their surprise at the beauty of the venue, stating, "I thought, 'Are we really performing here?' but from a distance, it looks really pretty and charming," and share their excitement about busking, saying, "We were worried we might feel trapped, but isn't this the essence of busking?"

In the rain-soaked streets, Suzy and Jongho perform a sweet duet of 'Dream' (드림), captivating the audience with their infectious chemistry, which reportedly brought smiles to those gathered. Jongho remarked, "It was delightful and fun. Who would have thought Suzy would suddenly become like an older sister to me?" adding to the anticipation for their performance.

At a trendy live house with an open mic stage, the group raises the energy with their collective song 'Sugar' (슈가), enhanced by Hongjoong's Korean rap, adding an extra layer of enjoyment for the audience.

Suzy delivers heartfelt performances of 'Fixing My Makeup' (화장을 고치고) and 'To You Who Doesn’t Love Me' (나를 사랑하지 않는 그대에게). This marks Suzy's first music variety show experience, and she expressed her gratitude, saying, "It feels like a dream. It's such a precious experience." Jongho also passionately sings Jeong Seung-hwan's 'Ordinary Day' (보통의 하루) to the gentle piano melodies, while Sunwoo Jung-Ah touches hearts with her song 'Let’s Run Away' (도망가자).

Despite the inclement weather, the audience gathered to witness 'The Singer in Germany' showed their enthusiasm with cheers, applause, and even tears, highlighting the emotional impact of the performances.
