Kanye West to Hold First Solo Concert in Korea This May

Coupang Play has announced that global hip-hop icon Kanye West, also known as YE, will be performing his first solo concert in South Korea on May 31 at the Incheon Munhak Stadium. This concert, titled 'Coupang Play Presents YE (Kanye West) Live in Korea: BULLY,' marks YE's first solo performance in nine years since his world tour in 2016. Fans can expect to hear the live debut of his new song 'BULLY,' which has already generated significant buzz after the release of its unfinished version, 'BULLY V1,' on March 22. Despite not being an official release, the track quickly climbed to the top of the Apple Music Hip-Hop/Rap music video charts and became a trending search term on Google.
Known as the 'GOAT' (Greatest of All Time) in hip-hop, YE is a 24-time Grammy Award winner and a legendary figure in the music industry. He has produced numerous hits, including 'RUNAWAY,' 'STRONGER,' and 'CARNIVAL,' with global album sales reaching approximately 140 million copies. Following a listening party in Goyang last August, YE's upcoming concert will feature a rich setlist that includes both new tracks and classic hits, providing an exciting experience for his Korean fans.
In addition to his musical achievements, YE is recognized as a groundbreaking musician and producer who has made significant contributions to the hip-hop scene. His influence extends into fashion and art, making him a cultural icon. Last year, he was named one of Billboard's 'Best Pop Stars of the 21st Century' and has been included in Time magazine's list of the '100 Most Influential People in the World' twice.
Ticket sales for YE's concert in Korea will begin in April.
