Kangnam Reflects on One Year Since Naturalization in 'Jeon Hyun-moo Plan 2'

Singer Kangnam will share his thoughts on his first year as a naturalized Korean citizen in the upcoming episode of MBN and Channel S's variety show 'Jeon Hyun-moo Plan 2'. On February 26, the show's producers teased an exciting food adventure featuring Jeon Hyun-moo, YouTuber Kwak Tube (곽준빈), and guest Kangnam in Andong. While searching for local delicacies, Kangnam expressed his craving for 'gan-godung-eo' (salted mackerel) and soup. Jeon Hyun-moo suggested trying 'guksu' (noodles), to which Kangnam responded with confusion, asking, 'What is guksu? I've never heard of it.' Jeon Hyun-moo clarified that 'guksu' refers to noodles. During their conversation, Jeon Hyun-moo asked, 'Japanese people are serious about noodles, but now you’re a Korean citizen, right?' Kangnam confirmed, 'It’s been a year since I became a Korean citizen. I no longer have a Japanese passport, as dual citizenship is not allowed between Korea and Japan.' He also mentioned that he has achieved what he envied the most since his naturalization and will candidly share the best aspects of obtaining Korean nationality. The episode featuring Kangnam's reflections on his first year as a naturalized citizen will air on February 28 at 9:10 PM.
