Kang Ha-neul Takes on New Role in 'Streaming' and Appears in 'Office Workers'

Actor Kang Ha-neul is set to make a splash in the upcoming film 'Streaming' while also appearing in the Coupang Play series 'Office Workers'. On March 21, the production team of 'Streaming' (directed by Jo Jang-ho, produced and distributed by Lotte Entertainment, and co-produced by Berry Good Studio and TH Story) announced that Kang Ha-neul will portray Woo-sang, a crime channel streamer, showcasing a dramatic transformation.

'Streaming' is a thriller that follows Woo-sang, the top streamer of a crime channel, as he uncovers clues related to an unresolved serial murder case and broadcasts his pursuit of the culprit in real-time. This role marks Kang Ha-neul's return to the office environment since his appearance in the 2014 drama 'Misaeng'. In 'Office Workers', he will seek image consulting to fully embody his character Woo-sang, bringing his signature wit and humor to the series.

Reports suggest that the staff at DY Planning presented unique and improvisational ideas for Kang Ha-neul's character transformation, eliciting genuine laughter from him. Known for his warm image and often referred to as a 'good deed manufacturer', Kang Ha-neul is expected to deliver a hilarious performance as he takes on the role of a crime streamer.
