Kang Ha-neul and Lee Byung-hun Set to Clash in Theaters This March

Kang Ha-neul and Lee Byung-hun, who made a significant impact globally with their roles in the hit series Squid Game Season 2 (오징어 게임 시즌2), are gearing up for a theatrical showdown this March. The two actors, who faced off as competitors in the thrilling games of Squid Game, will reunite on the big screen.
Kang Ha-neul, who portrayed participant number 388, ‘Dae-ho,’ showcasing a charming yet cunning character, will star in the film Streaming (스트리밍), directed by Jo Jang-ho. In this thriller, he takes on the role of ‘Woo-sang,’ a crime channel streamer driven by madness. The plot revolves around Woo-sang, who discovers clues to an unresolved serial murder case and broadcasts his pursuit of the culprit live. Known for his versatile acting skills, Kang Ha-neul's transformation into a streamer with a flashy demeanor is generating buzz. As he delves into the 'Clothing Hem Serial Murder Case,' Woo-sang's dynamic and suspenseful journey promises to captivate audiences as he faces unexpected dangers during his live broadcasts.
Meanwhile, Lee Byung-hun, who played the pivotal role of participant number 001, ‘Oh Young-il,’ and the Front Man in Squid Game, is making his return to the screen in the film Win (승부), directed by Kim Hyung-joo. The story follows the legendary Go player Cho Hun-hyeon (played by Lee Byung-hun), who, after losing a match against his disciple, seeks to reclaim his status as the best. In Win, Lee Byung-hun embodies the world-renowned Go master, portraying the intense competition and the emotional aftermath of his battles. Both Streaming and Win are set to dominate the box office this March.
Kang Ha-neul's bold transformation in Streaming is highly anticipated, with the film scheduled for release in theaters nationwide on March 21.
