JYP Entertainment's new boy group, KickFlip, is showcasing their versatile talents as they embark on their debut activities. The group officially debuted on January 20 with their first mini-album, 'Flip it, Kick it!' and the title track 'Mama Said (뭐가 되려고?)'. With aspirations to 'turn the world upside down' as a 'K-pop super rookie', KickFlip is captivating fans across various platforms.

The seven members—계훈 (Kyeo Hoon), 아마루 (Amaru), 동화 (Dong Hwa), 주왕 (Ju Wang), 민제 (Min Je), 케이주 (KJ), and 동현 (Dong Hyun)—have made a significant impact through diverse content. Their dance challenges, interviews, and humorous reels shared on their official Instagram have garnered immense attention, amassing over 82 million views on their reels alone as of the afternoon of February 14, with total content views nearing 100 million. Their official TikTok account recently surpassed 1 million followers, further demonstrating their influence in the short-form content space as the 'next generation of K-pop rookies'.

On YouTube, KickFlip continues to charm audiences with a variety of content, including dance practice videos, behind-the-scenes footage from their music video shoots, and a series titled 'PRE-KICK: Roll Before our Debut'. They have also gained popularity through their chemistry with senior JYP artists in 'KickFlip JYP Debut Special Lecture'. Their lively live broadcasts and appearances in popular YouTube series like 'Idol Human Theater' and 'Milky Boys 2' have showcased their wit and charisma, capturing viewers' attention.

KickFlip's performance skills are also noteworthy. During their debut activities, they delivered powerful performances of 'Mama Said (뭐가 되려고?)' and the B-side track '응 그래' on music shows, receiving positive feedback from K-pop fans. Their stage cam videos highlight each member's unique strengths and the group's cohesive choreography. KickFlip's debut album, 'Flip it, Kick it!', achieved impressive sales, with 322,000 copies shipped in its first week according to Circle Chart, topping both the weekly album chart and the weekly retail album chart (January 19-25, 2025). Additionally, they recorded 276,881 copies sold in the first week on Hanteo Chart, earning them an official first-week certification. As KickFlip continues to make waves in the K-pop industry, all eyes are on their promising journey ahead.
