Jungkook (정국) of BTS (방탄소년단) and Stray Kids have solidified their global popularity by making appearances on Billboard's annual 'Top Artists' chart. According to the chart released on December 13, 2024, Jungkook secured the 60th position, while Stray Kids followed closely at 73rd.
Notably, Jungkook's solo album 'GOLDEN' (골든) achieved an impressive 80th place on the 'Billboard 200' annual chart, marking the highest rank for a K-pop artist and reaffirming his exceptional global influence.
Stray Kids showcased their strong international fanbase with their albums 'LOCKDOWN' (락스타) and 'ATE' (에이트) landing at 123rd and 139th, respectively. Other K-pop acts also made their mark, with ENHYPEN's 'Romance: Untold' at 196th and Jimin's (지민) 'MUSE' at 200th on the Billboard 200 annual chart.
In the 'Global 200' annual chart, K-pop songs made a significant impact with a total of 10 entries. Jungkook's hit 'Seven' (세븐) reached the highest position at 15th, followed by 'Standing Next to You' (스탠딩 넥스트 투 유) at 36th and '3D' at 129th.
Additionally, BLACKPINK's Jennie featured in the soundtrack for the American drama 'The Idol' with the song 'One of the Girls' (원 오브 더 걸스) at 19th, while other notable tracks included Ailee's 'Magnetic' (마그네틱) at 61st, Jimin's 'Hurt' (후) at 106th and 'Like Crazy' (라이크 크레이지) at 154th, LE SSERAFIM's 'Perfect Night' (퍼펙트 나이트) at 135th, aespa's 'Supernova' (슈퍼노바) at 139th, and Pinkfong's 'Baby Shark' (아기상어) at 147th, all contributing to the rising status of K-pop on the global stage.
