Jung Yu-mi and Ju Ji-hoon Reunite in 'Love is a One-Way Bridge'

In the final episode of tvN's weekend drama 'Love is a One-Way Bridge' (사랑은 외나무다리에서), which aired on December 29, Jung Yu-mi (윤지원) and Ju Ji-hoon (석지원) reunited at Namsan, fulfilling a promise made in the past. The episode revealed a shocking twist: the identity of the person responsible for the death of Yoon Ji-won's father, Yoon Ho-seok (주석태), was revealed to be Ji Kyung-hoon (이승준). Yoon Ho-seok died in a car accident while trying to avoid Ji Kyung-hoon's vehicle, who callously fled the scene despite Yoon's desperate plea to save Ji-won's mother.

As the story unfolded, Seok Ji-won attempted to subdue Ji Kyung-hoon, who was fleeing from Yoon Jae-ho (김갑수), and sustained injuries in the process. He was subsequently taken to the hospital alongside Yoon Jae-ho.

Meanwhile, Yoon Ji-won, who met with the doctor as Yoon Jae-ho's guardian, learned that he was at high risk for dementia due to mild cognitive impairment. The doctor emphasized that dementia is not a curable condition and that family support is crucial for maintaining a routine life. When asked if there were any other family members, Ji-won initially replied that she was alone, but then Seok Kyung-tae (이병주) appeared, expressing his willingness to help as a family-like figure, which moved her.

With Kyung-tae's indirect approval, Seok Ji-won and Yoon Ji-won were able to plan their wedding. Although Kyung-tae and Yoon Jae-ho suggested various ideas for the ceremony, the couple insisted on a small wedding.

However, their happiness was short-lived as Seok Ji-won had to leave for a month-long overseas business trip to develop an ecological park aimed at boosting the local economy. Yoon Ji-won felt disappointed about not being able to celebrate her birthday with him.

On the day of the first snowfall, Yoon Ji-won found herself alone, muttering, "What a sad sight this is." Just then, she received a call from Seok Ji-won, who informed her that it was snowing where he was. Thinking he was teasing her since it was summer there, she headed to Namsan, where she found Seok Ji-won waiting for her. He expressed, "The weather forecast said it would snow. I didn’t want you to wait for me this time," and wrapped a bright red scarf around her, creating a touching moment.
