Jung Woo-sung's Past Comments Resurface Amid Personal Scandal

The personal life of actor Jung Woo-sung is under scrutiny following recent revelations about his private affairs. On November 22, news broke that model Moon Ga-bi had secretly given birth, with Jung Woo-sung identified as the child's father, sparking controversy.

In response, Jung Woo-sung's representatives confirmed that the child is indeed his and stated, "We are discussing the best approach to parenting and will do our utmost as a father."

However, the scandal deepened when reports emerged on November 25, indicating that Jung Woo-sung has been in a serious relationship with a non-celebrity woman for over a year. This woman, who has been seen socializing with the likes of Lee Jung-jae and Lim Se-ryeong, was reportedly shocked to learn about Jung's extramarital child and Moon Ga-bi's involvement.

Additionally, images and videos of Jung Woo-sung with the non-celebrity woman began circulating on social media, raising further questions about their relationship. Some personal details about this woman have also surfaced, but it remains unclear if she is the same individual featured in the photos.

As the scandal unfolds, Jung Woo-sung's past statements are being revisited, leading to increased criticism from netizens. In a 2004 interview with Elle Korea following the release of the film "A Moment to Remember" (내 머리 속의 지우개), Jung reflected on his dating philosophy in his twenties, admitting, "I didn't take women seriously back then. When asked if he was upset by the questions posed during the interview, he responded, "It's amusing. I have a desire to speak more openly, but there are limitations. One day, I hope to be able to answer questions like 'Who did you sleep with?' with something like 'I slept with her, but it was a bit bland.'"

Jung Woo-sung's first public appearance following this scandal is set for the 45th Blue Dragon Film Awards, taking place on November 29 at KBS Hall in Yeouido, Seoul. He is nominated for Best Actor for his role in the film "Spring in Seoul" (서울의 봄), which premiered in November of last year.
