Jung Woo-sung's Fans Show Support Following Revelation of Extramarital Child

Actor Jung Woo-sung (정우성), 51, has confirmed the existence of an extramarital child with model Moon Ga-bi (문가비), 35. In response, his fans have issued a supportive statement. On November 25, the 'Jung Woo-sung Gallery' on the online community DC Inside shared a collective opinion from its members, expressing their backing for the actor.

The fans stated, "We believe in Jung Woo-sung's strong resolve and fully support the agency's position that he will do his best as a father to the child." They also referenced the case of Cristiano Ronaldo, one of the world's top football players, who has a child from an extramarital relationship. The fans expressed hope that South Korea could embrace a more open mindset, which would contribute to the advancement of popular culture.

Cristiano Ronaldo had a son with another woman while dating model Irina Shayk in 2010. After a DNA test confirmed his paternity, he publicly acknowledged the child as his own.

Additionally, fans highlighted Jung Woo-sung's decade-long role as a goodwill ambassador for the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) in the Asia-Pacific region, urging him to clarify the situation at the upcoming 45th Blue Dragon Film Awards on November 29.

On November 24, Jung Woo-sung's agency, Artist Company, confirmed via social media that the child revealed by Moon Ga-bi is indeed Jung's biological child, stating, "We are discussing the best approach for the child's upbringing and will do our utmost as a father."
