Jung Woo-sung Makes First Public Appearance as a Father at the 45th Blue Dragon Film Awards

Actor Jung Woo-sung is set to make his first public appearance since acknowledging the birth of his son. According to industry sources, Jung will attend the 45th Blue Dragon Film Awards, taking place on November 29 at KBS Hall in Yeouido, Seoul.
Nominated for Best Actor for his role in the film 'Seoul's Spring' (서울의 봄), which premiered in November last year, Jung is competing against notable actors such as Hwang Jung-min, Choi Min-sik, Lee Sung-min, and Lee Je-hoon for the prestigious award. In 'Seoul's Spring,' he portrays Lieutenant General Lee Tae-shin, the Deputy Chief of the Army Headquarters Education Command.
This awards ceremony marks Jung's first official event since confirming that he has welcomed a son with model Moon Ga-bi, without being married. There is considerable interest in whether he will mention his son or his relationship with Moon Ga-bi during the event, especially if he wins an award.
The news of Jung being the biological father of Moon Ga-bi's child was first reported the day before. While Moon Ga-bi announced the birth on her Instagram on November 22, she did not disclose the identity of the father at that time.
Following the reports, Jung's agency, Artist Company, confirmed that the child is indeed Jung's. It has been clarified that Jung and Moon Ga-bi are not currently in a romantic relationship and have no plans to marry. Jung's representatives stated, "We are discussing the best approach to parenting and will do our utmost as a father for the child."
