Jung Sung-il Praises Kim Hye-soo at Disney Content Showcase 2024

Actor Jung Sung-il expressed high admiration for Kim Hye-soo during the 'Disney Content Showcase 2024' held at the Sands Expo and Convention Centre in Singapore on November 21. While introducing his upcoming project 'Trigger', Jung shared insights about his character development, stating, "I had extensive discussions with the director about the character, focusing on aspects like costume and appearance to create a character that feels isolated and introspective. Throughout the filming, I learned a lot about why Kim Hye-soo is regarded as one of the most respected actors in Korea. She is not only a remarkable actress but also a wonderful person with so much to teach. What more can I say? She truly deserves the respect she receives and is an outstanding individual, making it a great experience to work with her."

The Walt Disney Company (Disney) hosted the 'Disney Content Showcase 2024' on November 20-21 at Marina Bay Sands in Singapore, featuring top global stars from the U.S. and the Asia-Pacific region. The event attracted over 400 journalists from 12 countries, including Korea and Japan.

On the first day, Disney and its subsidiaries, including 20th Century Studios, Searchlight Pictures, Walt Disney Animation Studios, Pixar, Lucasfilm, and Marvel Studios, showcased their theatrical and streaming lineups, highlighting their exceptional creativity and storytelling prowess. The second day focused on introducing lineups from Korea, Japan, and the Asia-Pacific region, drawing significant attention.
