Jung So-min Celebrates Milestone with First Leading Actress Award After 14 Years

Actress Jung So-min has achieved a significant milestone in her career by winning her first Leading Actress award after 14 years since her debut. She received this honor at the 44th Golden Cinematography Awards held on November 18, 2024. Established in 1977, the Golden Cinematography Awards aim to maintain the technical sensibility of Korean cinema and discover new talent in the industry.

Jung So-min was recognized for her performance in the romantic comedy film '30 Days' (30일), directed by Nam Dae-jung and produced by Film Company ULLIM. The film, which was released last year, tells the comedic story of Jeong-yeol (played by Kang Ha-neul) and Nara (played by Jung So-min), who, unable to endure each other's quirks, end up suffering from amnesia just before they can completely part ways. In her role as the free-spirited character Hong Nara, Jung So-min showcased her comedic talent, captivating 2.16 million viewers.
