Jung Seung-hwan Shines on Stage with IVE After Military Service

On February 7, 2025, KBS2TV's The Seasons - Lee Young-ji's Rainbow featured singer Jung Seung-hwan, who recently completed his military service, as he took the stage with the popular girl group IVE. Lee Young-ji introduced him as a 'ballad singer who has just returned from military service,' expressing that it was her first time meeting him. Jung Seung-hwan, feeling at ease, remarked on how comfortable he felt despite his long hiatus, likening the experience to visiting a friend's house.
Dressed in military attire, he humorously questioned whether he was a soldier or a civilian while performing, stating, 'It feels strange to be on stage in uniform.' He expressed a desire to wear something stylish for the final song. The performance included a medley of girl group dances, featuring tracks like aespa's 'Next Level,' 'Supernova,' and IVE's 'Love Dive,' which drew enthusiastic cheers from the audience.
As IVE appeared as the next guests, Jung Seung-hwan was seen cheering for them from the audience. Lee Young-ji playfully noted that he danced 'Love Dive' even better than IVE, while member Jang Won-young complimented him, recalling how he executed the scorpion dance better than she did, expressing her gratitude.
With great energy, Jung Seung-hwan successfully collaborated with IVE for a joint performance, wrapping up the show on a high note. Lee Young-ji humorously referred to him as a 'civilian in the ballad world,' which elicited laughter from the audience.
Jung Seung-hwan has established himself as a prominent figure in the Korean ballad scene, known for his hit songs such as 'This Fool,' 'If It Were You,' 'Snowman,' 'Confession on December 25,' 'That Winter,' 'Anytime, Anywhere,' and 'It Rains.'
