Jung Kyung-ho Shares Sweet Traits Inherited from His Father, Director Jung Eul-young

In the latest episode of ENA's variety show, 'Choi Hwa-jung and Kim Ho-young's I Missed You' aired on May 18, actor Jung Kyung-ho opened up about his relationship with his father, director Jung Eul-young. During the show, Kim Ho-young inquired about how the two hosts became friends, to which Choi Hwa-jung explained that they are both actors and became close through their work on the drama 'Winter Sonata,' directed by Jung Eul-young.

Choi noted that she had been keeping an eye on Jung Kyung-ho because he is the son of the renowned director, and she found him to be very warm-hearted. She recalled how he would send in numerous stories to her radio show, 'Choi Hwa-jung's Power Time.' Jung Kyung-ho confirmed this, revealing that he would even attach photos to his messages and send them repeatedly until they were read on air, sometimes up to 20 times, saying, 'Hello, this is Jung Kyung-ho,' or 'It's me, sister.' If his messages went unread, he would follow up with personal texts asking why they weren't acknowledged.

Choi Hwa-jung remarked on the quality of his messages, sharing a humorous exchange where Jung Kyung-ho playfully asked why she wore the same shirt, calling it cute. He also joked about drinking 'kimchi soup' in anticipation of a successful drama, which made everyone laugh.

Reflecting on his long-time listening of her radio show, Jung Kyung-ho expressed that the stories resonated with him, sometimes making him feel frustrated or sympathetic, which prompted him to reach out. He expressed disappointment that she no longer hosts the show.

Choi Hwa-jung then asked Jung Kyung-ho if he inherited his sweetness from his father, recalling that director Jung Eul-young was quite intimidating on set, likening him to a tiger. Jung Kyung-ho agreed, stating that his father is indeed very caring at home.
