Jung Ho-yeon Joins BH Entertainment

Jung Ho-yeon has officially signed with BH Entertainment, the agency founded by Lee Byung-hun. She first gained recognition in 2011 after debuting on 'Korea's Next Top Model Season 2' and has since established herself as a prominent model, participating in numerous fashion shows and global brand campaigns.

Her acting career took off with her role as Kang Sae-byeok in Netflix's original series 'Squid Game,' which garnered her international acclaim and sparked the 'Jung Ho-yeon syndrome.' Notably, she became the first Korean actress to win the Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Leading Role at the 28th Screen Actors Guild Awards (SAG) and was nominated for the Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series at the 74th Primetime Emmy Awards, elevating the status of Korean content on the global stage.

Continuing her global journey, Jung recently completed filming for Na Hong-jin's new movie 'Hope' and is set to appear as Ji-soo, the assistant to Catherine (played by Cate Blanchett), in the upcoming Apple TV+ drama 'Disclaimer' in 2024.

BH Entertainment expressed their excitement about working with Jung, stating, 'We are thrilled to have Jung Ho-yeon on board. She is a talented actress with limitless potential. We will strive to support her growth into a globally beloved star through our systematic and meticulous management system.'
