Jung Dong-won's Second Album Tops Music Charts

Jung Dong-won's second studio album, '키다리의 선물' (A Gift from the Tall Man), has soared to the top of the daily album charts following its release on March 13. According to data from the domestic music site Hanteo Chart, the album has received an enthusiastic response from fans, selling over 110,000 copies shortly after its launch, thanks to its diverse musical styles and solid album structure.
This marks Jung Dong-won's first full-length album in three years, following '그리움, 아낌 없이 주는 나무' (Longing, The Giving Tree) released in 2021. Inspired by the novel '키다리 아저씨' (Daddy Long Legs), the album symbolizes the mutual support and warmth shared between Jung and his fans, akin to the character who quietly encourages and spreads love and hope.
The album features a total of 14 tracks, including double title songs '흥!' (Hooray!) and '꽃등' (Flower Lantern), along with instrumental versions. It showcases a variety of genres, from trot and sweet ballads to upbeat dance tracks, highlighting Jung Dong-won's expanding musical range.
Additionally, Jung Dong-won is set to kick off his national tour with a concert titled '정동원棠동 이야기話화 3rd 전국투어 콘서트 – 서울' (Jung Dong-won’s Story 3rd National Tour Concert – Seoul) at Olympic Hall in Olympic Park from March 28 to 30.
