Jung Dong-won's Fans Celebrate 5th Anniversary with Generous Donation

On December 18, 2024, fans of singer Jung Dong-won made a significant gesture by donating 12,180,000 KRW to the Seoul branch of the Korean Red Cross (대한적십자사 서울특별시지사), led by President Kwon Young-kyu. This donation was organized by the fan cafe 'Uju Chongdongwon' in celebration of Jung Dong-won's 5th debut anniversary. The amount of 12,180,000 KRW was specifically chosen to commemorate his debut date.

According to the Korean Red Cross, the funds will be utilized for various community welfare initiatives, including disaster prevention activities, emergency relief efforts, urgent support for families in crisis, and programs for vulnerable populations.

A representative from the Uju Chongdongwon fan cafe expressed, "The members came together to make this special donation to celebrate Jung Dong-won's 5th anniversary. We are delighted that fans can contribute to helping those in need while also spreading the positive influence of our beloved artist. We aim to continue our charitable efforts in the future."

Yoon Jong-ok, head of the Korean Red Cross's donation planning team, remarked, "It seems true that fans begin to resemble their idols. We are grateful for the mature fan culture of 'Uju Chongdongwon' that spreads goodwill through donations and volunteer work."

Additionally, Jung Dong-won has been active as a promotional ambassador for the Korean Red Cross since November, alongside fellow artist Jang Min-ho, participating in various charitable activities, including a photoshoot for the 2025 Red Cross fundraising campaign.
