Jung Dong-won to Release New Album After Three Years

Singer Jung Dong-won (정동원) is set to release his new studio album titled ‘The Gift of the Tall Man’ (키다리의 선물) on March 13 at 6 PM, marking his return after three years since his last album, ‘Longing, The Giving Tree’ (그리움, 아낌없이 주는 나무) in 2021.

On February 15, his agency, Showplay Entertainment (쇼플레이엔터테인먼트), shared a timetable on social media featuring a calendar reminiscent of a novel, with Jung's silhouette dressed in a fedora and suit. The promotional rollout will include the first teaser image, concept film, illustrated teaser, lyric poster, highlight medley video, special clip, highlight performance video, and a music video teaser.

In the meantime, Jung has been active under his sub-character ‘JD1’, gaining popularity with tracks like ‘Error 405’ (에러 405) and ‘Take Responsibility’ (책임져). He also released his first concert film, ‘Jung Dong-won Christmas Total Mobilization: The Movie’ (정동원 성탄총동원 더 무비). Additionally, he will kick off his third nationwide tour starting in Seoul on February 28.
