Jung Dong-won Celebrates 5th Debut Anniversary with Charity Donation

The fan community of singer Jung Dong-won, known as ‘우주총동원’ (Uju Chongdongwon), has made a generous donation of 12,180,000 KRW to the Korean Red Cross Seoul Branch, led by Chairman Kwon Young-kyu. This contribution, made in celebration of Jung Dong-won's 5th debut anniversary, symbolizes his debut date of December 18. The funds will be utilized for various welfare initiatives, including disaster prevention activities, emergency relief efforts, urgent support for families in crisis, and programs for vulnerable populations.

In November, Jung Dong-won began his role as an ambassador for the Korean Red Cross alongside fellow singer Jang Min-ho, participating in promotional activities for the 2025 Red Cross fundraising campaign.

A representative from the Uju Chongdongwon fan cafe expressed their joy in being able to share their favorite artist's positive influence through charitable giving, stating, “We will continue to be a fan community that engages in sharing and support.” Yoon Jong-ok, head of the Korean Red Cross Seoul Branch’s donation planning team, expressed gratitude for the mature fan culture of Uju Chongdongwon, which spreads goodwill through donations and volunteer work.
