JTBC's 'Please Take Care of My Refrigerator' Canceled Due to Airport Incident

JTBC's variety show 'Please Take Care of My Refrigerator' will not air as scheduled due to the aftermath of a tragic airplane accident at Muan International Airport. The network announced on December 29 that the third episode, which was set to air at 9 PM, has been postponed in favor of a news special. Originally, actors Song Joong-ki and Lee Hee-joon, stars of the film 'Bogotá: The Last Chance,' were slated to appear as guests, but their segment will now be broadcast next week. Earlier that day, a flight from Bangkok, Jeju Air flight 7C2216, veered off the runway while landing at Muan International Airport. The aircraft was expected to arrive at 8:30 AM with 175 passengers and 6 crew members on board, totaling 181 individuals. As of now, authorities have confirmed 124 fatalities, 2 injuries, and 55 individuals are still unaccounted for. Jeju Air has expressed deep condolences to those affected by the incident, stating, 'We sincerely apologize to everyone impacted by the Muan Airport accident and will do our utmost to assist in the recovery efforts. We are sorry for the distress caused.'
