Joo Ji-hoon Confesses His Feelings in 'Love is a One-Legged Bridge'

In the latest episode of tvN's weekend drama 'Love is a One-Legged Bridge' (사랑은 외나무다리에서), which aired on December 14, Joo Ji-hoon (석지원) made a heartfelt confession to Jung Yu-mi (윤지원). The episode depicted the two characters realizing their feelings for each other and preparing for a genuine relationship.
After noticing flowers blooming on a tree, Seok Ji-won boldly suggested to Yoon Ji-won that they start dating. Despite Ji-won's initial resistance, Ji-won continued to pursue her. Although he received advice to act indifferent, he decided to approach her in his own unique way. He playfully called her "baby," which provoked an angry reaction from Ji-won, leading him to remark, "So you do like this kind of thing; your response is immediate." Ji-won retaliated by kicking him in the shins, causing him to tumble down the stairs.
As Ji-won prepared a meal for Ji-won, she muttered to herself, "Why do you look fine but get hurt so easily? You’re just making me worry for no reason." She tried to deny her feelings, saying, "What do you mean worry? We’re just fellow housemates with a sense of humanity." Ji-won then proposed they date until the flowers wilt, and Ji-won eventually agreed, marking the start of their secret romance.
Later, while dining with colleagues, Ji-won encountered Ji-won again. They maintained a cold demeanor, aware of the others' scrutiny. When asked if she disliked the chairman, Ji-won quipped, "I’d rather shave my head and enter a temple than date the chairman." This prompted Ji-won's colleague, Cha Ji-hye (차지혜), to express skepticism, saying, "I’ve heard that before."
The couple also prepared for their first date, each contemplating their outfits. Ji-won stumbled upon an old phone while searching through her clothes, triggering memories from the past.
During their first date, they faced a crisis when their secret relationship was almost exposed to their colleagues. While everyone except Ji-hye cheered for them, Ji-won admitted that he had been the one pursuing Ji-won. After the gathering, Ji-won confronted Ji-won about his actions, expressing her discomfort with how others viewed them, to which Ji-won replied, "I don’t care."
As they drove together, Ji-won tenderly caressed Ji-won’s sleeping face. When Ji-won woke up, a startled Ji-won quickly made an excuse, saying, "There’s already a mosquito!"
The two maintained a cautious distance afterward. Ji-won waited for Ji-won on the way to her residence, commenting on her cold demeanor, "Are you waiting for the flowers to wilt? When they do, we won’t see each other again, right?" Ji-won replied, "There will be no more interactions. Let’s keep it clean."
Meanwhile, Ji-hye secretly placed Ji-won’s phone down, leading to an encounter with Ji-won. Ji-won demanded an explanation from Ji-hye, who suggested they could just pretend it never happened if she returned the phone. Ji-won insisted, "But she’s your friend, Ji-won," to which Ji-hye admitted her feelings for Ji-won but noted that his circumstances were causing Ji-won the most distress.
In a twist, Ji-won reviewed the messages on her restored old phone, discovering that Ji-won had been sending her messages expressing his longing for her all along. Realizing Ji-won’s true feelings, she rushed to meet him at a lilac flower spot, where Ji-won proposed they stop the pretense and start a real relationship.
