Jonathan Donates 5 Million Won to Support Menstrual Products for Young Women

Television personality Jonathan has made a generous donation to support young women in need of menstrual products. On November 30, 2024, the international development NGO, G Foundation (지파운데이션), announced that Jonathan contributed 5 million won to their menstrual product support program for young women.
This donation will assist the G Foundation's initiative, which aims to provide menstrual products to economically disadvantaged young women, ensuring they have a healthy menstrual period.
Jonathan expressed his motivation for the donation, stating, "After hearing the stories of young women struggling to afford enough menstrual products due to difficult financial situations, I felt compelled to provide hope and support. I have always been grateful for the love I have received in Korea, and through this donation, I want to give back and empathize with the pain of vulnerable young women."
In response, G Foundation's representative, Park Chung-kwan, noted, "While the government and various organizations are working hard to support menstrual product initiatives for young women, many still fall through the cracks due to various circumstances. Jonathan's donation not only supports healthy and dignified menstrual periods for young women but also raises social awareness about menstrual poverty and promotes a culture of sharing."
Originally from the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Jonathan is preparing for naturalization in Korea and has recently passed the Level 2 Korean History Proficiency Test, showcasing his deep affection for Korean history and culture. This donation marks his first involvement with the G Foundation's support initiatives.
