During the press conference on December 9, Jo Yu-ri described her character, stating, "Jun-hee accumulates massive debt due to incorrect investment information and ends up participating in the game. She encounters her ex-boyfriend, Myung-ki, at the game venue." Myung-ki, played by Im Si-wan, is a coin investment YouTuber who becomes embroiled in a scam, leading to significant losses for himself and his subscribers, ultimately forcing him into the game.

As Squid Game 2 premieres, many are curious if Jo Yu-ri can replicate Jung Ho-yeon's success. Jung became a global star through her role in the first season, showcasing her talent alongside seasoned actors like Lee Jung-jae and Park Hae-soo.
