Jo Bo-ah Shares Thoughts on Her Comeback Series 'Tangeum' After Marriage

Actress Jo Bo-ah has expressed her feelings about her first project since marriage, the Netflix original series 'Tangeum'. The production conference for 'Tangeum' took place on May 13 at the Shin-Do-Rim Ramada Hotel in Guro, Seoul, featuring director Kim Hong-sun and cast members Lee Jae-wook, Jo Bo-ah, Jung Ga-ram, Uhm Ji-won, and Park Byung-eun discussing the series.
'Tangeum' tells the story of Hong-rang, the son of Joseon's largest merchant, who returns after 12 years with no memory, while his half-sister Jae-i is the only one who doubts his true identity. The series explores the mysterious and romantic feelings that develop between them. The cast, including Lee Jae-wook and Jo Bo-ah, along with Jung Ga-ram, Uhm Ji-won, Park Byung-eun, and Kim Jae-wook, promises a fresh and talented ensemble.
Jo Bo-ah remarked, "We filmed for a long time, and with post-production, it has been quite a while. I am excited, nervous, and worried to finally share this work with the world. I hope everyone looks forward to it."
Initially, Jo Bo-ah was set to return with the Disney+ series 'Knock Off', but after that project was put on hold, she shifted her focus to 'Tangeum'. She candidly shared her mixed emotions but expressed happiness about connecting with viewers through 'Tangeum'.
The series, filled with intrigue and complex emotions surrounding Hong-rang and Jae-i, as well as the secrets and plans of characters Mu-jin, Min-yeon, and Sim Yeol-guk, will be available on Netflix starting May 16 at 4 PM.
