Jitun Makes a Triumphant Return with New Album 'Goj' After 7 Years

The one-man band Jitun (성용욱) is set to make a significant comeback after a seven-year hiatus with the release of their third studio album, 'Goj'. The album will be available on various online music platforms today, November 21, at 6 PM.

'Goj' encapsulates the theme of 'life differentiated over time' through nine tracks, including the double title songs 'Eongteori' and 'Seomgwang'. The album features a total of nine songs, such as 'Goseong', 'Dangbu', 'Binbae', 'Yeon', 'Holoin Insaeng', 'Sonyeonui Yeoreum', and 'Jotdan Mallya', showcasing Jitun's deepened musical sensibility and rich vocal charm. This marks Jitun's return to the music scene since the release of their second album 'UNI-VERSE' in 2017, offering long-awaited 'Jitun-style' music to fans.

The album 'Goj' reflects Jitun's dreamy yet husky voice, which has matured over time, aiming to create a unique musical world through self-composed songs. It is anticipated to leave a subtle yet profound impact on the K-pop industry as 2024 comes to a close.

In celebration of the album's release, Jitun will hold a solo concert at the Mapo Art Center's Art Hall Mac on December 28 at 6 PM, where they will perform new songs for the first time.

Additionally, Jitun is working on a project to release both 'Goj' and the previously released 'UNI-VERSE' on LP. The crowdfunding campaign on Tumblbug, which runs until November 30, has already exceeded its funding goal by over 600%, thanks to enthusiastic fan participation. The LP for 'Goj' will include eight tracks, excluding the bonus track 'Jotdan Mallya', while 'UNI-VERSE' will feature three beloved bonus tracks: 'Sarajyeoganeun Geotdeul', 'Silver Lining', and 'Geudaeraneun Sungan', totaling 14 tracks on the LP.
