Jinyoung Launches Idol Debut Project for Jeong Ji-so in 'Suspicious Girl'

Producer Jinyoung from Unis Entertainment is working tirelessly to transform Jeong Ji-so into a star. The new KBS 2TV drama 'Suspicious Girl' (수상한 그녀), set to premiere on December 18, 2024, is directed by Park Yong-soon and written by Heo Seung-min. This romantic musical growth drama tells the story of Oh Mal-soon, who magically transforms from a 70-year-old woman into a 20-year-old named Oh Du-ri, allowing her to relive her youthful glory. The series is a remake of the popular film of the same name and has garnered significant attention for its expanded characters and storyline.

Following the release of the first teaser and youthful poster, 'Suspicious Girl' has unveiled stills featuring a significant encounter between Oh Du-ri (played by Jeong Ji-so) and Daniel Han (played by Jinyoung). In the drama, the elderly Oh Mal-soon (played by Kim Hae-sook) wakes up one day as a young woman and decides to embrace her new life as Oh Du-ri. Despite her youthful appearance, Du-ri's curly hair and floral vest reflect her unique grandmotherly charm.

Meanwhile, Daniel, a producer at Unis Entertainment, is on a quest to find a missing trainee. When he unexpectedly meets Du-ri at a convenience store, he appears to have found the person he has been searching for, smiling broadly. Additionally, Du-ri is seen diligently practicing her dance moves, determined to pursue her childhood dream of becoming a singer.
