Jimin Sets New Record on Billboard Charts

BTS's Jimin has made headlines by achieving a remarkable milestone on the Billboard charts. According to the latest update from Billboard, dated January 25, 2025, Jimin's second solo album, 'MUSE,' has secured its place on the Billboard 200 chart for an impressive 26 weeks, breaking the record for the longest-charting album by a K-pop solo artist.

Despite being released in July of last year, 'MUSE' continues to perform well, ranking third on the World Albums chart. The title track, 'Who,' has also made its mark, landing at 41 on the Hot 100 chart. Additionally, 'Who' has reached 21 on the Global (excluding the U.S.) chart and 29 on the Streaming Songs chart, while making a comeback to the Digital Song Sales chart at 23.

Meanwhile, V's song 'Winter Ahead (with PARK HYO SHIN),' released in November, is also gaining traction, ranking 109 on the Global (excluding the U.S.) chart and 185 on the Global 200 chart.

The solo works of Jin and Jungkook are also receiving consistent love from fans. Jin's solo album 'Happy' is currently at 16 on the World Albums chart and 50 on the Top Current Album Sales chart, with the title track 'Running Wild' charting at 132 on the Global (excluding the U.S.) chart. Jungkook's solo single 'Seven (feat. Latto)' has charted for a total of 79 weeks on the Global (excluding the U.S.) chart (74) and 78 weeks on the Global 200 chart (115).

BTS's albums continue to enjoy strong popularity, raising anticipation for their full group activities. The anthology album 'Proof' has remained on the World Albums chart for an impressive 136 weeks, currently sitting at 6.
