Jimin Sets New Record for K-Pop Solo Artists on Billboard Hot 100

Jimin of BTS (방탄소년단) has achieved a remarkable milestone by setting a new record for the longest-charting K-Pop solo artist on the Billboard Hot 100. According to the latest chart released by Billboard on March 11, 2025, Jimin's title track 'Who' from his second solo album 'MUSE' has reached the 41st position on the Hot 100, marking a total of 32 weeks on the chart. This surpasses the previous record held by Psy, whose hit 'Gangnam Style' charted for 31 weeks in 2012. Additionally, Jimin's achievement ties him with BTS's own 'Dynamite', which also spent 32 weeks on the Hot 100, making him the artist with the longest charting records in both group and solo activities.

Jimin's album 'MUSE' is also performing exceptionally well on the album charts, maintaining its presence on the Billboard 200 at 154th and ranking first on the World Albums chart for 33 consecutive weeks, continuously breaking records.

The solo projects of BTS members continue to enjoy popularity as well. j-hope's collaboration with Don Toliver on 'LV Bag (feat. j-hope of BTS & Pharrell Williams)' has made its mark on the Global (Excl. U.S.) chart for two weeks in a row. Meanwhile, Jungkook's first solo single 'Seven (feat. Latto)' has remained on the Global (Excl. U.S.) chart for 86 weeks and on the Global 200 for 85 weeks. Jin's solo album 'Happy', released last November, is still charting at 25th on the World Albums chart after 16 weeks. The group's anthology album 'Proof' is also holding strong at 7th place on the chart for 143 weeks, showcasing BTS's enduring status in the music industry.

Additionally, Suga's mixtape track 'Daechwita' under his stage name Agust D has made a surprising re-entry at 8th place on the World Digital Song Sales chart.
