Ji Seung-hyun Wins Best Supporting Actor at 2024 SBS Drama Awards

At the 2024 SBS Drama Awards held on December 21 at the SBS Prism Tower in Sangam-dong, Seoul, actor Ji Seung-hyun, known for his role as an unfaithful husband in Good Partner (굿파트너), received the Best Supporting Actor award in the mini-series human/fantasy category.

Alongside him, Kim In-kwon from Judge from Hell (지옥에서 온 판사) was also honored. During his acceptance speech, Kim expressed gratitude to director Park Jin-pyo, stating, 'Thank you. Director Park promised me at the start of this drama that he would help me create a likable character, and this award proves that.' He also thanked his co-stars and the production team for their hard work, emphasizing his commitment to portraying characters with love and warmth in the future.

Ji Seung-hyun, reflecting on his experience in Good Partner, remarked, 'It was a joyful set with truly good partners. I want to take this opportunity to sincerely apologize to my wife, Jang Na-ra, and my daughter, Yuna, for the difficulties I caused during filming.' He expressed his appreciation for the Good Partner team and director Kim Ga-ram, acknowledging the nerves he felt while accepting the award. Ji also shared his personal aspirations to carry forward the admirable image of his character from his previous project, General Yang Gyu, and thanked fans for their support. He concluded with a heartfelt message wishing everyone a happy end of the year, despite the chaos in the country.
