In a surprising revelation, broadcaster Ji Sang-ryeol disclosed that he is currently living with a partner during the January 25 episode of KBS 2TV's Salim Nam (살림하는 남자들 시즌2). The episode featured Ji as a new cast member, drawing significant attention.

During the show, a mysterious woman was seen in Ji's kitchen, engaging with him in a friendly manner. She commented on his voice, suggesting he might be catching a cold, and asked if he had eaten yet. When the voice was heard without a face, fellow cast member Eun Ji-won humorously speculated if it was senior singer No Sa-yeon. It turned out that the woman was actually Ji Sang-ryeol's sister-in-law.

She shared that she married into the family at the age of 23 when Ji's uncle was in the first year of middle school, emphasizing their close familial bond over the past 40 years. Ji agreed, stating, "We know each other just by looking at each other." He also touched viewers' hearts by revealing that his sister-in-law cared for his mother during her illness, providing her with essential support.

Additionally, Ji's older brother sparked surprise among viewers for not resembling Ji at all. Singer Baek Ji-young jokingly remarked that her middle school graduation photo looked more like Ji Sang-ryeol than his brother did.
