j-hope's World Tour Tickets Sell Out Instantly, Marking a Historic Milestone

j-hope (제이홉), a member of the globally renowned group BTS (방탄소년단), has showcased his remarkable ticketing power as his first world tour, 'j-hope Tour 'HOPE ON THE STAGE'' (이하 ‘HOPE ON THE STAGE’), sold out all three shows in Seoul within moments of the fan club pre-sale starting on January 14.

The tour will kick off in Seoul from February 28 to March 2 at the KSPO DOME, before heading to North America starting March 13 in Brooklyn. Notably, j-hope will perform at the BMO Stadium in Los Angeles on April 4 and 6, making him the first solo Korean artist to grace this venue.

International media outlets have reacted to the announcement of j-hope's tour. Forbes described it as a significant signal of his return to the global stage and a new beginning. They highlighted his pioneering status in K-pop, noting that he is the first Korean solo artist to perform at BMO Stadium. Additionally, they praised his ability to captivate large audiences, referencing his headlining performance at Lollapalooza, where he became the first Korean artist to do so.

Various media, including the Associated Press and Consequence of Sound, have also reported on j-hope's world tour, recalling his impressive performance at the 2022 Lollapalooza festival in Chicago.

The 'HOPE ON THE STAGE' tour will span 15 cities, including Chicago, Mexico City, San Antonio, Oakland, Los Angeles, Manila, Saitama, Singapore, Jakarta, Bangkok, Macau, Taipei, and Osaka, with a total of 31 performances. j-hope plans to express hopes, wishes, and dreams alongside his audience during the tour, and he will also debut stages from his special album 'HOPE ON THE STREET VOL.1', released last March.

On January 10, j-hope surprised fans by posting a video titled 'j-hope 'Beginning of a New Dream'' on the official BTS YouTube channel, showcasing his music work in the U.S. He teased fans with the phrase, 'See you in Korea,' and added on his social media, 'New music on the way. 2025.03.', sparking excitement among his followers.
