J-Hope's New Song Challenge Takes the Internet by Storm

BTS (방탄소년단) member J-Hope has captured the spotlight with his latest digital single, "Sweet Dreams (feat. Miguel)," released on March 7 at 2 PM KST. The song has sparked a viral dance challenge featuring a variety of artists, generating immense excitement online.
The challenge kicked off with participation from BTS's Jin, followed by dance videos from numerous well-known artists shared on BTS's official social media accounts. Notable idols such as Yeonjun from TXT (투모로우바이투게더), Taemin from SHINee (샤이니), Hoshi and Woozi from SEVENTEEN (세븐틴), San from ATEEZ (에이티즈), Niki from ENHYPEN (엔하이픈), Nayeon and Momo from TWICE (트와이스), Karina from aespa (에스파), Heo Yunjin from LE SSERAFIM (르세라핌), and &TEAM (앤팀) have all joined in, providing fans with entertaining content.
Additionally, former MBC variety show stars Jeon Hyun-moo and Giann 84, who appeared on "I Live Alone" (나 혼자 산다), also participated in the dance challenge. On March 10, J-Hope surprised fans by posting a video with Miguel on his personal social media.
The "Sweet Dreams (feat. Miguel)" dance challenge has already amassed over 200 million views on BTS's official Instagram Reels just three days after its initial release, showcasing the global fanbase's enthusiasm.
On TikTok, posts using the song have surpassed 144,000 as of March 10, with an average of about 14,000 videos uploaded daily since a sneak peek of the track was exclusively released on the platform on February 28.
The song itself is a heartfelt serenade expressing the desire to love and be loved, featuring dreamy synthesizers, refreshing guitar strums, and soft vocal riffs. It has topped the "Worldwide iTunes Song" and "European iTunes Song" charts for three consecutive days and reached number one on the Oricon Daily Digital Single Ranking in Japan on March 7.
J-Hope is set to appear on the popular NBC program "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" on March 11 at 12:35 PM, where he will perform the song live for the first time alongside Miguel.
