J-Hope Sets New Record for Korean Solo Artists on Billboard Charts

J-Hope (제이홉) of BTS (방탄소년단) has made history on the Billboard charts as he achieved a new record for Korean solo artists. According to the latest Billboard chart released on June 24, 2025, his new track 'Killin’ It Girl (feat. GloRilla)' debuted at number 40 on the Hot 100, marking his eighth entry on the chart and setting a record for the most entries by a Korean solo artist. This song also surpassed his previous highest ranking of 60, achieved with his 2023 single 'on the street (with J. Cole)'.
This year, J-Hope has successfully placed all three songs from his solo single project on the Hot 100. His first release, 'Sweet Dreams (feat. Miguel)', debuted at number 66, followed by 'MONA LISA' at number 65. The final installment, 'Killin’ It Girl (feat. GloRilla)', has shown his growing popularity, achieving the highest rank among his solo works.
In addition to its Hot 100 success, 'Killin’ It Girl (feat. GloRilla)' performed well on other charts, reaching number 2 on the Global (excluding the U.S.) chart and number 3 on the Global 200 chart, marking the first time J-Hope has entered the top 5 of both charts. 'MONA LISA' also made a re-entry at number 150 on the Global (excluding the U.S.) chart. Furthermore, 'Killin’ It Girl (feat. GloRilla)' topped the Digital Song Sales chart.
This week, other BTS members also made notable strides on the Billboard charts. Jin's (진) mini-album title track 'Don’t Say You Love Me' reached number 34 on the Global 200, while Jimin's (지민) solo title track 'Who' landed at number 87, and Jungkook's (정국) single 'Seven (feat. Latto)' secured the 99th spot. These tracks ranked 19th, 48th, and 57th respectively on the Global (excluding the U.S.) chart.
'Killin’ It Girl (feat. GloRilla)' is a hip-hop track that captures the exhilarating feeling of falling for someone at first sight. The song also debuted at number 30 on the UK Official Chart's Official Singles Top 100, marking the highest position for a J-Hope solo track.
