j-hope Kicks Off First Solo World Tour in Seoul, Building Anticipation for BTS Reunion

j-hope (정호석), a member of BTS (방탄소년단), has officially launched his first solo world tour, 'j-hope Tour 'HOPE ON THE STAGE' in SEOUL,' at the KSPO Dome in Olympic Park, Seoul, from March 2 to 4, 2025. This concert marks the beginning of his solo world tour, which will span 15 cities across North America and Asia, culminating in June 2025, coinciding with the completion of military service for all BTS members.
The concert attracted over 37,500 fans, showcasing j-hope's artistic evolution through a visually stunning performance. The opening track, 'What if…,' featured an impressive stage design with 25 box-shaped lifts that changed colors and heights, reminiscent of the theme of his debut album, 'Jack In The Box.' The performances were enhanced by pyrotechnics and lasers, creating an engaging atmosphere.
Throughout the concert, j-hope performed 21 songs divided into five themes: ambition, dreams, expectations, imagination, and wishes. He included tracks from his previous albums, such as '1 Verse' and 'HOPE ON THE STREET VOL.1,' as well as a new song, 'Sweet Dream,' which he debuted live during the show.
j-hope expressed his joy in performing, stating, 'The stage is my safety zone. I feel happiest when I am on stage.' His concert not only highlighted his solo artistry but also stirred excitement among fans for the future activities of BTS as a complete group. The tour will continue with performances in cities like Brooklyn, Chicago, and Los Angeles, among others, as fans eagerly await the return of all BTS members together.
