j-hope Dominates Billboard Charts Ahead of Solo Release

BTS (방탄소년단) member j-hope has made a significant impact on the Billboard charts as he gears up for his solo activities. According to the latest Billboard chart released on March 4, 2025, j-hope's collaboration with Don Toliver on the new track 'LV Bag (feat. j-hope of BTS & Pharrell Williams)' debuted at number 83 on the Hot 100. The song also secured the 43rd position on the Global (excluding the U.S.) chart and 48th on the Global 200. Additionally, it ranked 3rd in the Rap Digital Song Sales and 5th in the R&B/Hip-Hop Digital Song Sales, while entering the Digital Song Sales chart at number 8. It also reached 15th on the Hot Rap Songs and 27th on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs charts.

This marks j-hope's fifth entry on the Hot 100 as a solo artist. He first broke into the chart in September 2019 with 'Chicken Noodle Soup (feat. Becky G)', which peaked at number 81. He followed this with two tracks from his first official solo album 'Jack In The Box' released in July 2022, 'MORE' (82nd) and 'Arson' (96th), and his solo single 'on the street (with J. Cole)' which reached number 60 in March 2023.

Meanwhile, fellow BTS member Jimin is also making waves on the Billboard charts. His second solo album 'MUSE' debuted at number 123 on the Billboard 200, while the title track 'Who' landed at number 33 on the Hot 100. 'Who' has made history by staying on the Hot 100 for 31 consecutive weeks, matching the record set by PSY's 'Gangnam Style' for the longest-charting K-pop solo song. The track also reached 24th on both the Global 200 and Global (excluding the U.S.) charts.

Jungkook's first solo single 'Seven (feat. Latto)' ranked 76th on the Global (excluding the U.S.) chart and 124th on the Global 200. Jin's solo album 'Happy', released last November, has maintained its presence on the World Albums chart at number 23 for 15 consecutive weeks.

BTS's group album 'Proof' continues to show strength, holding the 7th position on the World Albums chart for an impressive 142 weeks, showcasing the group's enduring popularity.

j-hope is set to release his digital single 'Sweet Dreams (feat. Miguel)' on March 7 at 2 PM KST. The song is described as a heartfelt serenade expressing his desire to love and be loved, featuring R&B artist Miguel. Prior to the release, j-hope will host an offline fan event titled 'Sweet Dreamland' with 613 ARMY fans at 1 PM KST, which will also be streamed live on the superfan platform Weverse for those unable to attend.
