Jeon So-yeon, the leader of the girl group (G)I-DLE, made a surprise appearance as she ascended Hallasan amidst heavy snowfall. On November 28, she shared several photos of her hiking experience on her personal social media account, captioning them with 'Hallasan.'

The images showcase Jeon So-yeon equipped with professional hiking gear, braving the cold weather to reach the summit of Hallasan, where she celebrated her achievement at Baengnokdam, the crater lake at the top. She captured the moment with a photo in front of the stone monument, expressing her joy in conquering the mountain.

In addition, Jeon So-yeon revealed her 'Hallasan Summit Certificate,' sharing the thrill of her accomplishment with her fans, who responded with admiration, commenting, 'You did this too!' and 'That's amazing!'

Meanwhile, Jeon So-yeon is currently in discussions regarding her contract renewal with CUBE Entertainment. When asked about the status of her contract during a recent web variety show, she stated, 'I haven't left yet. We're still in discussions.' She expressed her desire to create the best environment for making music with her members, which has led to prolonged negotiations. 'We're considering how we can have the best environment to enjoy our work together,' she added.

As a producer and leader, she emphasized that the team always comes first. Reflecting on her seven years in the industry, she remarked, 'I feel like a mother now. The members are like my children and my closest friends. I'm looking for ways for us to work well together. I want to reach a conclusion as soon as possible, ideally by the end of November.'
